In the first phase of the project we are asking artists from all over the world if they are prepared to:
-Participate in this event by creating art or using existing work (music, film, dance, poetry, photography, etc.) which will capture the culture or the plight of the Tibetan people.
-Or use your own work and dedicate it to the Tibetan cause.
-Find a location for exibition of the artwork/performance etc. from July 1st to August 31st, 1998.

In the second phase of the project, we are asking the artists who are contributing work to send us photos (8" X 10") or possibly a video tape or audio cassette of the work they plan to contribute for the Tibetan manifestation.

Also, we would like to receive as much attention as possible, we hope that the artists involved will bring media attention to their work. We will be working to publicize the project as a whole, and plan to publish a calender of events early in 1998.

World Artists for Tibet is a not for profit organization incorporated in the state on New York. We are in need of funds to help us carry out our mission of using the power of artistic expression to bring world wide attention to the human rights abuses in Tibet.
