Throughout history, the art world has played a major role in reflecting its society’s values, issues and struggles. Whether through music, classic art, film, poetry, literature or dance, cultures have been profoundly moved, taught, and entertained by the creative media.

This project’s vision is to use the power of artistic expression to bring attention to a major struggle facing us today; human rights violations. The focus of this project is the situation in Tibet. We believe that if people around the world were informed about the Tibetan plight, there would be a world-wide response of compassion which would lead to the alleviation of the suffering of the Tibetans, and therefore our suffering.

It is time, as we come to the start of the new millenium, that we accept and embrace our interdependance and interconnection with each other, and all living things. Artists around the world can express our diverse cultural beauty as we unite around our true essence . . .
